This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we process data in connection with your use of NoteLock (the “Extension”, “Product”). By using the Extension, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy.
We do not use NoteLock to collect the contents of your notes or bookmarks for advertising, to build ad profiles, or to sell that content. Managing bookmarks, notes, and viewing history inside the Extension is for your convenience on your device — not a data-harvesting product on our side.
Bookmarks and free-form notes you create are stored locally in your browser
(e.g. via chrome.storage), on your
device. We do not receive a copy of that content merely because you typed it — unless a
separate feature you enable explicitly sends specific data (see below).
If you use the feature that displays browsing history, the Extension reads history through browser APIs you authorize. We do not use this to run a separate “analytics” business on your history content, and we do not sell lists of sites you viewed for marketing purposes as described in this Policy.
Some builds may contact a server for optional functionality (for example backup relay endpoints, sync-related state, or uploads tied to extension configuration). In those cases only minimum technical data needed for that interaction may be transmitted (e.g. identifiers or payloads required by the feature). Your note and bookmark text is not intended to be collected by us for advertising.
Information is used to:
We do not pass your note or bookmark content to ad networks for targeting. Sharing may occur only where required by law or with infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN) under appropriate obligations.
Data remains under your browser’s control until you remove it or uninstall the Extension. Use device and browser security best practices to protect your profile.
Where applicable law allows, you may request information, correction, deletion, or object to certain processing of data we hold as controller. Contact: lapamakksl655@gmail.com.
We may update this Policy. The current version is published on this site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
